Capturing Invisible team in Taiwan! #EnergyCommunities

Capturing Invisible team in Taiwan! #EnergyCommunities
Today we visited two communities (indigenous communities ) related to geothermal energy.
The first one is related to—> Bunun people of the Hongye tribe 紅葉部 in 延平鄉.
The second place is related to —> Paiwan people in 金崙
Yes, the are many communities and tribes in Taiwan, and they are very other. In both places, the relations between local communities are significantly different. Still, the example of the relationship with geothermal energy in those two places is an excellent place to dig more into it.
What are the relations with nature? Land? How are the ownership and agency shaping local communities' response to the investments in RES? Is the energy transitions so green? and try to treat nature as an equal partner? Do we want to change something? Or do we follow the same patterns but with different raw materials and technologies?
This place gives enormous opportunity to think about those relations, and needs a more comprehensive approach.
Thank you Wen-Ling Tu for you and your team!

Together with Aleksandra Wagner & Tadeusz Rudek we are sending greetings from the humid, hot but beautiful eastern pacific coast of Taiwan.
