This was the start of a pilot study to look at Taiwan's future. Last week, my team and I visited three key sites:

1. Taipei - the capital of one of the most important regions in the world 
2. Zhiben 知本 - a core site of the crucial Indigenous - Energy RES dispute.
3. Hsinchu 新竹 and the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company campus - where the digitalisation of the energy transition at stake.

This is a start. Beginnings are great, but difficult. There is a bumpy road ahead - but we will manage.
